Privacy policy

AI Team is a product/service operated by Akii Technologies, Ltd, Innovation One, No IH-00-01-03-OF-05, Level 3, Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how AI Team uses data to sell, configure, operate, monitor, secure, support, and improve managed AI Agents for ordinary business workflows.

Version and owner

Effective 2026-06-25. Owner: legal-compliance. Public legal pages must stay aligned with the compliance governance manifest and signed client agreements.

AI Team is the service brand; Akii Technologies, Ltd is the operating entity for implementation purposes.
DIFC data protection and DIFC autonomous-system governance are treated as primary controls for the operator.
UAE Federal PDPL compatibility is maintained for UAE mainland customer processing where applicable.

Roles

For client workflow data, the client is usually the Controller and Akii/AI Team is usually the Processor operating under the confirmed Agent scope.

Akii may be an independent Controller for account, billing, website, security, abuse-prevention, legal, and business operations data.
Client instructions are captured through setup scope, access review, approval rules, contracts, and go-live evidence.
Instructions that create legal, security, sector, residency, or operational risk can be rejected or re-scoped.

Data categories

AI Team processes only the data needed to run and evidence the managed Agent service.

Business contact details, organization account data, setup requests, privacy contact details, and legal acceptance records.
Workflow summaries, approved rules, tool names, access metadata, cost events, exception records, audit records, and support messages.
Safe Agent run summaries and operational metadata rather than raw secrets, credentials, medical records, regulated finance records, or full customer exports.

Use limits

Client workflow data is used to deliver the contracted Agent scope and keep the service auditable.

Client workflow data is not sold.
Client workflow data is not used for cross-client training or product learning unless a signed agreement explicitly says otherwise.
Aggregated, de-identified, or operationally necessary signals may be used for security, reliability, cost control, QA, and service improvement.

Excluded and review-only data

AI Team does not target or standard-onboard healthcare providers, medical workflows, regulated financial firms, or regulated financial workflows.

Healthcare, diagnosis, treatment, triage, banking, lending, insurance, investment, credit, regulated payment activity, and regulated advice are outside standard setup.
Public sector, education/minors, legal privileged data, residency-sensitive work, sensitive data, and high-impact HR require manual review.
Public setup forms must not include secrets, credentials, private records, medical records, regulated financial records, or full customer exports.
Secrets, credentials, private records, regulated records, and raw client workflow data are not intentionally exposed through public forms.

Transfers and subprocessors

Hosting, database, monitoring, analytics, payments, email, model, and Agent-tool providers may process data according to the approved subprocessor and transfer posture.

Hosting, payments, email, analytics, monitoring, database, model, and Agent-tool providers are reviewed before production use.
Default deployment uses EU/international providers unless a separate in-country architecture is explicitly contracted and evidenced.
Cross-border processing requires documented safeguards, subprocessor review, and client-facing disclosure.
Client-owned third-party tools remain subject to the client's own vendor contracts, settings, and privacy obligations.

Rights and requests

Clients can request access, correction, export, deletion, restriction, or objection support where applicable.

End-user requests tied to a client workflow may be routed to the client as Controller.
Requests can require identity, organization, authority, Agent, and record verification.
Deletion can be limited by billing, tax, legal, security, dispute, backup, or audit obligations.
